National Conference onManipur Agro Sector Logistics Challenges and Solutions

Rural logistics development is an important part of the modernization of the agriculture sector, which is essential for enhancing the living standards of rural residents. Agriculture logistics is critical for ensuring the produce reach the destinations and the true value is obtained for the farmers. India is the country with the second-largest tribal population in the world. Almost one hundred million people of the country are a part of the tribal population. Efficient logistics systems in rural tribal areas shall enable unimpeded distribution channels for agricultural inputs and products and manufactured consumer goods to and from rural areas and promote the development of the agriculture sector.  In this regard ASSOCHAM is hosting a virtual meet on 17^th of July 2021 in partnership with NABARD Manipur.  On this occasion an ASSOCHAM study shall be released.
