The GST has gone through significant changes since its implementation in 2017. Every new legislation takes time to evolve and stabilise. The GST law also seems to be evolving more through notifications and circulars. ASSOCHAM appreciates the efforts of the Government to ease the GST processes over a period of time by simplifying filing of registration application, return filing process, e-way bill, e-invoicing etc. The Government also announced several relief measures in the past 18 months to cater to the taxpayers affected by the countrywide lockdown in this pandemic situation. The industry and tax professionals will have to learn to adapt to frequent changes in tax positions and associated processes.

Therefore, ASSOCHAM is organizing an E - Conclave on 4 years of GST on 9th July 2021 at 3.00 pm to discuss the key developments under GST regime and suggest the best practices that industry should adopt during & post COVID-19.
