ASSOCHAM IP BOOTCAMP-Masterclass Serires with PCTE group of institutes

India has a proud history of Nalanda and Takshila Universities, so we already had the intellectual property inherited within our culture. Although India is currently the third largest startup ecosystem in the world still India is ranked low on a global intellectual property index as both filing and commercialization of patents are low in the country. There is sufficient talent in the country and young innovators are constantly innovating under the guidance of their mentors, but they are unaware of the system of filing for patents & IP rights.

Hence to overcome the current limitations in our innovation ecosystem, a systematic holistic effort, ASSOCHAM IP BOOTCAMP under the theme Nurturing Young Innovators, Incubators and Entrepreneurs, planning to organize a series of webinars that will create appropriate awareness regarding the need, mechanism, and methodology involved in filing IP in India and globally. The objective of the series is to recognize, facilitate and felicitate the Intellectual property, innovations, and best practices in HEIs. The idea is to make young minds curious about IP and teach them to respect it.

In view of the above, ASSOCHAM National Council on IPR is organizing a webinar on “ASSOCHAM IP BOOTCAMP – Masterclass with PCTE Group of Institutes” on 20th August 2021 at 11:30am - 1:00pm. The webinar would cover incentivisation of the innovation with the help of Intellectual Property Rights especially focussed on to the challenges faced in Pharmaceutical Sector.
