A Multidisciplinary Conclave on "Adolescent and Childhood Obesity"

ASSOCHAM in association with Institute of Minimal Access Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi is organizing a multidisciplinary mega conclave on “Adolescent and Childhood Obesity” on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Obesity is now a pandemic affecting increasing numbers of adolescents (>12-21 years of age) and children (5-12 years of age) in India. The COVID-19 pandemic and successive lockdowns have had a deleterious effect on physical activity and lifestyles with the potential to worsen obesity. We seek to clarify this cause-and-effect relationship by the following brief survey. The survey is completely anonymous and can be taken by adolescents or the parents of adolescents / children.
