Kumar, Joint Secretary (Seed), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India ASSOCHAM Eastern region has organized a webinar on Agri inputs and its challenges entitled as "Paradigm Shift on Agri Inputs: Challenges and A Way Forward" held on 1st July 2021 at (3: 00 - 05:00) PM on Virtual Mode. The virtual event was inaugurated by Shri Parshottambhai Rupala, Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Shri Ashwini Kumar, Joint Secretary (Seed), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India was invited as Special guest. Aayush Marodia, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM Agriculture Sub Council Eastern Region gave welcome address. During the course of discussions, respected Industry members/Panelists highlighted some of the key challenges and also gave a recommendation to Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The Minister ensured that the government would try its level best to address all the issues being faced by the industry. Shri Ashwini Kumar informed that government is looking to produce newer varieties of seeds in the PPP mode with the association in the pulses and oil seeds sectors and develop them to make our country self-reliant
