Special Address: Rakesh Nangia, Founder & Chairman, Nangia Andersen India Pvt Ltd.

Rakesh Nangia gave a special address and instated a brief overview of the overall PLI Scheme. Below are some highlights given by him:

● Production linked incentive is a very wide base scheme. It is launched with the objective to encourage domestic manufacturing and to make India - a manufacturing hub of the world.

● This manufacturing sector has placed such a vital role in terms of job creation, substituting import, acting as a GDP multiplier.

● The total amount committed by the government is close to 1.65 lakh crore in the shape of a subsidy. This subsidy is available and available for 5 years to 6 years, depending on the sector

● The government is giving a fixed outlay - timely movement timing making an obligation is prerequisite and important.
