2nd ASSOCHAM Annual Conclave FinTech & Digital Payments

With the Government of India’s flagship Digital India Programme, the adoption of digital payments and enabling a seamless payment experience has played a crucial role in realizing the vision of a digitally empowered economy.

ASSOCHAM strongly supports the landmark announcement during the Union budget to earmark ?1,500 crores for a scheme to incentivize digital payments to boost digital transactions further. India has distinctive comparative strengths in areas like Financial Inclusion, Digital Payments, etc. The growth of FinTech, or the designing and provisioning of financial services by using new technological innovations, is one of the most significant developments in the financial sector in the past decade. FinTech can play a vital role in increasing access to finance and promoting the growth of MSMEs in the country.

Keeping in mind the developments in the digital payment industry, ASSOCHAM is organising the 2 nd edition of the Annual Fintech & Digital Payments Conclave & Awards on a Virtual Platform on Wednesday 8th September 2021. This conclave and award ceremony aims to recognize organizations and promote best practices in the digital payment space. The Conclave will provide a platform to Senior officials from the government, Fintech and Digital Payment players, Banks, enablers, and other enabling financial institutions in India to come together and deliberate on the future of Digital Payments in the country.
