National Conference (Virtual) On "Constitutional Laws Interfacing With Commercial Laws"

  • 21 Dec, 2021
  • 3:00pm - 6:00pm

The Constitution of India is the supreme law that lays down fundamental principles, procedures, practices, rights, powers, and duties of the government and applies to all entities equally in India. There is an extensive list of Corporate and Commercial laws which includes contract law, company law, insolvency and bankruptcy laws, consumer protection law, property laws, intellectual property laws, and arbitration law. There are provisions under various articles of constitutional law which interface with commercial laws and their applicability becomes more impactful if taken together over their independent applications. There are a variety of challenges being faced by the corporate and stakeholders in India while incorporating the constitutional values in commercial laws without altering the proposed objective of the statute. It is pertinent to understand the issues and challenges behind such combination of active constitutional provisions interfacing with commercial laws. To discuss and address the issues and opportunities for bringing out more solidarity to the legal enactments, and ensuring compliances with the constitution, the ASSOCHAM National Council for Legal Affairs and Policy Reforms is organizing under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav the National Conference on “Constitutional Laws Interfacing with Commercial Laws” at 3.00pm on Tuesday, 21st December 2021. We take this opportunity to invite your esteemed organization to join us as a partner and nominate the experts as speakers, and delegates to attend the conference.
